DeLauro Takes Aim at Republican's Medicare Plan [Video]

A Woodbridge Medicare recipient joined DeLauro at Apex Pharmacy in Hamden.

Standing alongside Center for Medicare Advocacy director Judy Stein and Woodbridge resident Harvey Adelberg, Rep. Rosa DeLauro spoke against Republican plans to alter Medicare coverage in a press conference at in Hamden Wednesday. She in Branford at the Canoe Brook Senior Center last November. 

DeLauro, a Democrat who has served eleven terms in Connecticut's 3rd Congressional District, has been a strong supporter of the Affordable Care Act, which she helped pass in 2010. She told press she rejects the Republican plan spearheaded by representative and vice-presidential hopeful Paul Ryan, which would change Medicare to a voucher-based system.

rather harsh and does not mention Congress or that fact that any CEO expects their chain of commandRead More to do the job assigned. The events of the last few years, the endless wars, homeland terrorism etc. Not an easy time for any Commander -in Chief. When an article simply slams and does not balance with positive accomplishments, it is hard to see the readers point of view
