Arts and Cultural Commission Closer to a Reality in Branford
The selectmen will have to approve funding though.
A proposal to create an Arts and Cultural Commission has cleared one hurdle and now heads to the RTM for a full vote next month.
However, it will now be up to the selectmen to approve funding, the New Haven Register reports. Any money fundraised by the group will go to the town's finance office and then the committee will have have to ask the first selectman's office for the money, the Register reports.
