Rollover Accident at Pine Orchard Road and Montowese Street

One vehicle involved in accident near busy intersection.

responded to the intersection of Pine Orchard Road and Montowese Street on Saturday just before 11:30 a.m. on a report of a motor vehicle accident. Crews from , and Headquarters arrived to find one vehicle on its side on the lawn of , 60 Montowese St.

One person, who sustained non-life threatening injuries, was transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital by Medic 3. Patch was unable to obtain the name of the victim or the cause of the accident at this time but will update the story when new information becomes available.

Looks like speeding Montowese street is 25mph living in the area I would say the average speed is more like 40mph maybe more

The police stopped enforcing the Stop Sign laws. I complained at the station several times. I even told them about School buses that run the Stop Sign to no avail.

I know the person they passed out at the wheel and are lucky they have non life threatening injuries and didn't hurt anyone else!!!! Currently being checked out medically for any medical conditions that may have caused this. Thankful he is ok he is a WONDERFUL person
