Recent Arrests Include Drug Use, Sale and Possession

The following arrest information was supplied by the Branford Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Oct. 4 Carlos Berrios, 37, of New Haven was arrested at 9 a.m. for violation of a protective order. The court date was set for Oct. 4 Ezel M. Buchanan, 33, of New Haven was arrested at 2:24 p.m. for sale or possession with intent of sell one ounce of heroin, cocaine, methadone or less than 5mg of LSD, obstruction of marker plate, failure to keep prescription drugs in original container, operating a motor vehicle without a license. Veronica Lopez, 35, of Branford  was arrested at 7:24 p.m. for sixth-degree larceny. The court date was set for Oct. 18. Oct. 3 Patrick Thomas Palmierie, 33, of Branford was arrested at 4:30 p.m. for misapplication of property. The court date was set for Oct. 11. Melissa R. Thomas, 32, of Branford was arrested at 11:20 a.m. for use and possession of drug paraphernalia. The court date was set for Oct. 11. Oct. 1 Gina Romano, 41, of East Haven was arrested at 3:54 a.m. for failure to keep prescription drugs in original container. In the same incident, Armieri Pasquale, 43, of Branford was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of narcotics. The court date for both was set for Oct. 11. Evan McCue, 25, of Plainville was arrested at 9:30 a.m. for second-degree criminal trespassing. The court date was set for Oct. 11. Wilfredo Sanchez, 30, of Meriden was arrested at 5:01 a.m. for operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence and failure to drive in the proper lane. The court date was set for Oct. 12. Oct. 2 Bradford E. Laird, 61, of Branford was arrested at 8:25 p.m. for creating a public disturbance. The court date was set for Oct. 14. Heather E. McCarthy, 19, of Branford was arrested at 3:31 p.m. for threatening and violation of a protective order. The court date was set for Oct. 3. Juan Carlos Rivera, 26, of Branford was arrested at 12:59 a.m. for first-degree criminal trespassing, disorderly conduct and third-degree assault. The court date was set for Oct. 3. Mark A. Spears, 26, of East Haven was arrested at 4 a.m. for failure to keep prescription drugs in original container, possession of narcotics, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, improper use of marker/registration/license, no insurance and operating with registration suspended or revoked. The court date is set for Oct. 11.  Sept. 30 Kristin M. Cretella, 20, of East Haven was arrested at 7:23 p.m. for sixth-degree larceny. The court date was set for Oct. 11. Vincent J. Monaco, 52, of North Haven was arrested at 2:00 p.m. for sixth-degree larceny. Sept. 28 Joseph Iamunno, 54, of North Branford was arrested at 4:59 p.m. for creating a public disturbance. The court date was set for Oct. 14. Alissa Montz, 45, of Branford was arrested at 8:50 p.m. for breach of peace. The court date was set for Oct. 11. Dawn-Anne M. Peck, 34, of Madison was arrested at 8:15 p.m. for second-degree larceny. The court date was set for Oct. 11. Christopher F. Simone, 43, of Branford was arrested at 8:47 p.m. for disorderly conduct.
