Recent Arrests Include Criminal Mischief and Drug Charges
The following arrest information was supplied by the Branford Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
July 12
Danielle L. Alken, 27, of New Haven was arrested at 1:10 a.m. for second-degree criminal mischief.
Richard P. Briggs, 19, and Jacob Longyear, 18, both of New Haven were arrested at 3:20 a.m. for third-degree burglary, sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy. The two teens were caught allegedly stealing items from vehicles on Maple Street. Another teen, 17, was also arrested. You can read the full story . They are due in court on July 26.

Jessica L. VanLinter, 19, of Branford was arrested at 5:44 p.m. for disorderly conduct. The court date was set for July 13.

Dwayne E. Blomster, 46, of Branford was arrested at 9:30 p.m. for disorderly conduct and threatening. The court date was set for July 12.
July 8
Taylor Hamlin Banek, 20, of Madison was arrested at 8:30 p.m. for breach of peace and third-degree assault. The court date was set for July 19.
July 7
Brian C. DiCarlo, 32, of Waterbury was arrested at 9 a.m. for illegally obtaining or supplying prescription legend drugs. The court date was set for July 7.
