Missing Branford Teen Found

Branford Police were able to confirm that a missing 14-year-old with autism was found about five hours after he went missing, several towns away.

During the early morning hours, Branford Police were able to determine that Michael, the missing Branford teen who has autism, was found safe and in "good health" in West Haven. 

According to Branford Police, Michael, went missing last night. According to a press release. Michael walked from his home in the Branford Hills area of town, around 7 p.m., according to Police. 

Branford Police Captain Geoffrey Morgan told the press the good news around 2 a.m., thanking the broadcast media partners for their efforts to locate Michael on their 11 p.m. news shows.

"A special thanks to our broadcast media partners. After your 11 p.m. broadcast a number to confirmed sightings were reported to our agency," Morgan wrote in an e-mail.
