A Series of Accidents is Backing up Traffic on I95 South From Guilford to New Haven

A truck traveling on Interstate 95 appears to have jackknifed and could possibly be leaking fuel.

UPDATED: Just as emergency officials were clearing an earlier accident on Interstate 95 two more accident occurred on the highway and are backing up traffic in the area, one in Guilford and the other in West Haven, the DOT reports.

This morning around 6 a.m. a tractor trailer jackknifed on I95 south, near exit 45 (Long Wharf Drive) in New Haven. There were reports that the tractor trailer was carrying more than 100 gallons of diesel fuel and that the fuel tanks could be breached.

There are no reports at this time if any other vehicles were invloved or if anyone was injured.

The view from the Connecticut Department of Transportation traffic cameras indicate that the three left lanes are now open, for travel. The truck appears to have gone off the road onto the shoulder, blocking the right lane.

rather harsh and does not mention Congress or that fact that any CEO expects their chain of commandRead More to do the job assigned. The events of the last few years, the endless wars, homeland terrorism etc. Not an easy time for any Commander -in Chief. When an article simply slams and does not balance with positive accomplishments, it is hard to see the readers point of view
