Get Rid of Unneeded or Expired Medications on April 27

If you have medications you no longer need, bring them to the Branford Police Department for safe disposal on Saturday.

The Branford Police Department, in partnership with the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), will participate in national Safe Drug Disposal Program this Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

Citizens can bring any unused or expired medications for safe disposal with no questions asked to the collection site located at the Branford Police Department, 33 Laurel St.

Officers and department staff will be on hand to help collect medication at the collection site.

In addition, visit www.branfordpolice.com and follow the B-informed link. There you will be able to tailor the information you would like to receive in the future and register different ways to be notified including cell phones, pagers and email address.
