Branford Police Sponsor Drug Take Back Day, Sept. 29

Grab your unused or expired meds and head to the police department today for safe disposal.

The Branford Police Department in partnership with the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) will participate in national Safe Drug Disposal Program on Saturday, September 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (read more about drug take back and Long Island Sound here).

Citizens can bring any unused or expired medications for safe disposal with no questions asked to the collection site located at the Branford Police Department, 33 Laurel St.

Officers and department staff will be on hand to help collect medication at the collection site.
