Branford Police Breakup Underage Party: East Haven Minors Nabbed for Drinking

Fourteen cited for alcohol charges.

Branford Police officers noticed what was later determined to be an underage alcohol party as they were proactively patrolling area motel and hotel parking lots for crime.

Officer Philip Ramey entered a parking area on East Main Street just after 1 a.m. this morning when he noticed teenagers walking into a nearby room with beer cans in their hands. After a short surveillance, other officers assisted Ramey and they went to the room to investigate. Once greeted at the motel room door by one of the room’s occupants, police noticed that many of those attending the party appeared underage and could not possess or consume alcohol.

Officers cited the following: Michael Barent, 19, of 32 Bartlett Rd., East Haven, Santiago Caccone, 19, of 31 Charles Dr., East Haven, Michael Dinicola, 19, of 32 Benjamin Rd., East Haven, Julian Leite, 19, of 718 Quinnipiac Ave., New Haven, James Oca, 19, of 9 William St., East Haven, Stephen Piscitelli, 19, of 168 Sylvan Hills Rd., East Haven, Tyler Ross, 18, of 73 Prospect Rd., East Haven and Paul Vakos, 19, of 88 Kirk Rd., Hamden, Ashley Bureau*, 20, (one day shy of her 21st birthday) of 39 Cross St., East Haven and Danielle Hinckley*, 19, of 264 Chidsey Ave., for possession of alcohol by a minor at private location.

Officers also cited: James Barone, 21, of 32 Rabbit Rock Rd., East Haven, Jordan Leite, 21, of 44 Pardee Place Ext., East Haven and Jonathan Young, 23, of 134 Crest Ave., East Haven for
permitting minor to possess alcohol. Ashley Bureau, 22, (DOB 7/27/90) of 39 Cross St. East Haven

Additionally officers cited Tyler Kemp, 19, of 66 Dodge Ave., East Haven for possession of alcohol by a minor at private location and possession of marijuana (less ½ oz.).

All 14 individuals arrested were issued citations.
