Alexander Kates, 33, of Second Street, Jamestown (NY), was charged with operation while under the influence at 1:05 a.m. on Jan. 21. His court date was set for Jan. 30. Arresting officer: Marc T. Andrew

Matthew P. Bigos, 43, of Hillside Avenue, Branford, was charged with issuing a bad check at 4 p.m. on Jan. 22. His court date was set for Feb. 5. Arresting officer: Stanley Konesky III

Angela Cintron, 22, of Eleventh Street, Derby, was charged with breach of peace and third-degree assault at 10:45 a.m. on Jan. 23. Her court date was set for Jan. 24. Arresting officer: Bret C. Johnson
