Branford Police Arrests for Oct. 15 to Oct. 17

Victor Sanmartin, 28, of Hopson Avenue in Branford, was charged Oct. 15 with operation of a motor vehicle with a registration and/or license that is suspended or revoked. He was scheduled to appear in court Oct. 24. Arresting officer: John J. Cassella.

Nicholas Christofani, 19, of Main Street in Branford, was charged Oct. 17 with third-degree assault. He is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 30. Arresting officer: Arthur C. Ferris.

Darren J. Sargent, 25, of Hopson Avenue in Branford, was charged Oct. 17 with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault. He was scheduled to appear in court Oct. 18. Arresting officer: John Alves.

Melissa Scanlon, 23, of Commerce Street in Clinton, was charged Oct. 17 with operation of a motor vehicle under the influence and failure to drive right. She is expected to appear in court Oct. 31. Arresting officer: Marc T. Andrew.

William Keith Schaeffer, 21, of East Main Street in Branford, was charged Oct. 17 with third-degree assault. He is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 30. Arresting officer: Arthur C. Ferris.
