Update: Branford Man Found Dead at UConn: Cause of Death Ruled Accident
Nicholas Esposito of Branford was found dead at the UConn Storrs campus where he worked on Wednesday, July 27.
A Branford man was found dead at UConn, Storrs campus Wednesday, July 27 at 2 p.m. according to WTNH.
The station reports that Nicholas Esposito, who worked at the university’s power plant, was found "unresponsive" by co-workers.
An autopsy found that Esposito died of "compression asphyxia" and ruled the death an accident, the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office told Patch Friday.
