Blaze Damages South Montowese Street Home

Fire was contained to the basement, but the road was closed for a time.

Firefighters quickly knocked down a basement fire in a home on South Montowese Street this morning.

A large swath of South Montowese Street was closed between Barker Place and Tabor Drive. There was no other immediate information from fire officials, but check back with Patch for updates.
