East Haven Police are seeking two suspects, one male and one female, from an elderly resident's home during an apparent roof repair scam.

A Stratford man has been for stealing more than $14,000 worth of jewelry from a Naugatuck home on Oct. 2, 2011. Since February, Douglas Fast, 47, has also been charged by police in seven other towns for similar crimes, according to state records. A man in New Haven told police he was trying to “buy some (sex) and get high” but was reportedly robbed, according to the New Haven Register. The would-be buyer wandered around the neighborhood with a gun, but was soon caught after a 5-year-old girl saw him and told her mom.
