It's the time of year when all the old favorites show up on cable. What's YOUR personal favorite holiday movie?

The house is decorated, the tree is up and it's time to snuggle by the fireplace and watch a Christmas classic on tv.

Okay, maybe you don't decorate your house or have a tree or a fireplace but you likely do have a favorite Christmas/holiday movie.

Amid all the hub-bub of the holiday season, this list might refresh your memory: http://www.christmasmovieslist.com/

A Wonderful Life. This burg could be Bedford Falls or Pottersville. Its up to each of us to work together so it doesnt end up the latter. Merry Christmas to all East Haven, all race, creed, man, woman, child, whoever is here and however you got here. I hope the light of the lord shines on you. I hope he guides the path you take. May he teach you to love each other, forgive each other. We are our brothers/sisters keeper and we are all one from the same lord above. Let our hearts not be hardened to each other, but open to understanding and compassion. For those who flee poverty and oppression, let us try to show them a way to freedom. And lets teach our young folk, that freedom is not a gift its a responsibility. A fella once said to me what is legal isnt always right and what is right isnt always legal. Folks pray that in 2012 we find a comprise in our hearts that opens a path for peace. God Bless America and all who stand on her ground. Descendents of the american indian, the travellers to the new world, those who fled the famines in Ireland, the strife in Italy, the persecution in Europe, Asia, the fareast and South America, and the slaves stolen from their homeland, we stand as one, for the red, white and blue.
