Branford’s “Dave” Gets Rowdy With WFAN’s Boomer & Carton

“Dave” professes his allegiance to Branford’s Mike Olt as discussion of Dickey’s trade brings the Texas Ranger into the fold. Craig holds nothing back…

There has been talk this week that the Texas Rangers are willing to deal third-baseman Mike Olt – Branford’s own major leaguer – for Mets starting pitcher R.A. Dickey and according to the New York Daily News and CBS Sports. This trade could also involve other players in addition to Olt.

On Dec. 12, sports radio hosts WFAN’s Boomer & Carton discussed this possible deal with “Dave” who said he is a Branford resident.

Radio host, Craig was adamant that the Mets would not want Olt because they just gave third baseman David Wright a new contract, which makes him a New York Met for life.

“Dave” was insisting that this was a deal the Mets could make and he called in to “break stones” with the radio djs.

Craig was not very kind to “Dave” but you’ll have to listen for yourself and decide.*

rather harsh and does not mention Congress or that fact that any CEO expects their chain of commandRead More to do the job assigned. The events of the last few years, the endless wars, homeland terrorism etc. Not an easy time for any Commander -in Chief. When an article simply slams and does not balance with positive accomplishments, it is hard to see the readers point of view
