Good news for our animals at the Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter and photos with Santa coming up in December

Good news about recent animal adoptions and upcoming holiday event.

Hello everyone. I just wanted to give you all an update on what has been going on at the Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter. We have had many animals go to their forever homes recently which is incredibly heartwarming especially around the holidays. Three of our dogs I mentioned in a past blog post, Bonnie, Clyde and Bogart were adopted and they are doing very well. Besides them we have had other dogs go into homes as well as cats and even Kaa our beloved King Snake found herself a home as well. We still have many wonderful animals who would love to go home for the holidays so feel welcome to come in and meet the great animals that we have or spread the word about them to friends and family.

We also have a fun event coming up at the shelter and that is our Photos with Santa. This event is lots of fun and animals and kids are welcome to come and take a photograph with Santa for a $5.00 donation to the shelter. The money raised from this event goes towards the care of our animals. Treats and biscuits will be available for the dogs and juice and cookies with be served as well for the kids who come and join us. It's a really festive occasion that myself and the staff and volunteers look forward to every year and it gets everyone in the holiday spirit. The date of our Photos with Santa, is Sunday, December 9th and Santa will be there from 2-4pm. We hope to see you there!
