Saturday: It's the Branford Holiday Parade & Tree Lighting!
The town's annual tree lighting and parade marks the official start of the holiday season in Branford.
Ho, ho, ho!! The holiday season has begun — and local festivities get their official kick off here in Branford with the annual town tree lighting early Saturday evening.
The festivities, always a fun time for the whole family, begin at Branford High School with the holiday parade stepping off 5 p.m.
The tree will then be lit at following the holiday parade.
The rain date for the event is Sunday, Dec. 1.
