Keep in mind that with the Thursday holiday, some offices may also be closed Friday. Check before you go.

- Garbage collection will be delayed by one day
- Libraries
- Banks (under state law they can remain open, so call or go online first)
- State offices, including DMV
- Financial Markets
- State Courts
- Federal Offices
- United States Post Offices (no home delivery)
- Beaches
- Most Liquor Stores
- Most Supermarkets
- Most Retail Stores
- State and Municipal Parks
