What Would You Improve in Branford in 2013?

If you could make a New Year's resolution for Branford, what would it be?

More than 45 percent of Americans make a resolution every year, according to statisticbrain.com. Some people vow to live a healthier lifestyle, others promise to spend more time with family, and many say they will try to save money.

As millions of Americans make resolutions to improve their lives, what could we do right here in Branford to make it an even better place to live?

What is on your Branford wish list? Improved government relations? Better schools? What is one thing you would improve in 2013?

At some point I would hope people would get out and vote. The politics in Branford don't have to be this way. Too many people complain, but do nothing about it. The only reason things stay the same is because the same people keep voting. It is not that big of a town. If several new people on each street just got out there and voted, things would change. If you are happy with the way things are run in Branford, you just have your head in the sand.

Can our town's political leaders put some pressure on the Branford Postmaster to PLEASE improve the service at the main office after 4pm (when the branches are closed)? A quality town like Branford, with many thriving businesses and business people who need to mail things deserves a LOT better! At least a half hour wait to mail one package when I got there around 4:25 or so today. *One clerk* doing his best to stay sane and serve the customers... one by one... Goofy music playing in the background, various other apparent workers passing thru to say hi to the guy, etc.. And all the while the line of customers gets longer and longer, with people waiting and waiting... BRANFORD DESERVES A BETTER POST OFFICE--ESPECIALLY AFTER 4PM!!!
