'Incredible to See the People of Branford Come Together'

Thanks to support from the community and the work of a team of volunteers at FPGG, the holiday was filled with cheer for Branford families.

Christmas was extra special in Branford this year thanks to a group of volunteers and the generosity of residents.

The local group, Fortunate People Giving Gifts (FPGG), once again rallied the community around a scavenger hunt and toy drive ahead of the holiday.

"It was a complete team effort," said Nate Morrison, a FPGG co-founder. "As for the toy drive itself, it was a terrific success. We collected nearly 300 presents, and over $300 in money donations."

"We had many people come forth and show their support, and it was incredible to see the people of Branford come together during the holidays," Morrison added.
