Sweatsuits and Socks Needed at Donation Drive!

Several Branford organizations are helping with a donation drive for the Shoreline Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Task Force.

In support of the Women and Families Center Sexual Assault Crisis Services, the Shoreline Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Task Force is hosting a donation drive this Saturday, April 6, 2013 at the Guilford Community Center from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Donations for adult men and women are needed including: new adult sweatshirts, new adult sweatpants, new socks, and new, travel-size, non-alcohol and unscented personal care items (i.e. mouthwash and lotion).

The donated items will be put into Care Kits that are distributed by crisis counselors working in local emergency rooms to survivors of sexual violence.

The Shoreline Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Task Force is a collaboration of informed professionals whose mission is to provide education, coordinate resources and aid in the prevention of domestic violence and sexual assault to communities along the Shoreline.
