Mark your calendars and ready your sneakers for Family Fun, Food & Games on the Branford Town Green. Every first Tuesday this summer (June 5, July 3, and August 7), from 5:30-6:30, the Community Dining Room (CDR) and the East Shore Health Department (ESHD) will host a fun, family-themed evening of outdoor games followed by a full picnic dinner. There is no cost for this event. “Summer sports activities are a great way for family members of all ages to get outdoors and be active,” said Patricia Kral, Executive Director of the Community Dining Room. “Over the years, the Branford Town Green has become a focal point for summer activities, from frisbee to running and walking to jazz concerts. We wanted to give back to the community by providing another way for the entire family to enjoy the beautiful warm weather together, exercise and have some fun. “Just bring your sneakers, a water bottle and a blanket,” added Kral. “We’ll provide the fun and picnic!”
