Break a Guinness Book of World Record: Donate Life

 ,   Add to calendar
20 York St New Haven CT 06510  See map

April is 'National Donate Life Month' and with over 1,200 Connecticut residents awaiting an organ transplant, we are trying to raise awareness of organ donation and transplantation.

On Monday, April 23, 2012 we are going to try and break a 'Guinness Book of World Record' by registering as many new organ donors as we can in one day.  The state of Utah hold the current record of registering 765 donors, so Connecticut needs to register 766...and WE CAN DO IT!!

Come see us in the atrium at Yale-New Haven Hospital located at 20 York Street, New Haven, Connecticut between the hours of 8 AM and 4 PM.

If you would like any additional information regarding the event or organ donation and/or transplantation, please contact M. Lynne McHale, RN, CNII, CCTC at 203-688-5627 or via e-mail at Lynne.McHale@YNHH.ORG.

Be a hero and register to become an organ donor!!

Hope to see you then!

rather harsh and does not mention Congress or that fact that any CEO expects their chain of commandRead More to do the job assigned. The events of the last few years, the endless wars, homeland terrorism etc. Not an easy time for any Commander -in Chief. When an article simply slams and does not balance with positive accomplishments, it is hard to see the readers point of view
