Branford Early Childhood Collaborative Community Meeting

Dinner will be served as the Branford Early Childhood Collaborative (BECC) shares with you the results of the first stage in our two-year early childhood community planning process, which is funded by a $50,000 grant from  the Graustein Memorial Fund.  The results are a combination of information through surveys, interviews with key people in town, and focus groups with community organizations over the past year.

As we end the first stage, we invite you to join us in the following one.  The Collaborative is focusing to ensure that “All Branford children, ages birth through eight years, are happy, healthy, and safe, with a love of learning in school and in life.”  With this being said, there are four strategic areas in which the Collaborative will be focusing on in the next stage of the planning process: Happiness, Health, Safety, and Education.  Although attending the meeting does not commit you to the Collaborative, the Community Meeting will allow you to meet the corresponding chairs to each of these committees, and explore which committee you would be best suited to contribute to.

***Appetizers and dinner will be provided by Born in America, and childcare is available if needed (please note in RSVP if you will be bringing children).
