The Branford Historical Society will hold its annual dinner meeting on Thursday, May17th at the Owenego Inn 40 Linden Avenue, Branford. A cash bar and selected hors d’oeuvres will be available at 5:30 pm, followed by a sit-down dinner at 6:30 pm. The cost is $33.00 per person. State Archeologist Nicholas Bellantoni will give a power point presentation on “The Archeology Forensics and Historical Research into Christ Church Cemetery in New Haven”. He will discuss the research done after bones were discovered during construction at Yale New Haven Hospital in 2011 underneath the road leading to the Emergency Room entrance.
