Trailblazer and Denali are proud to present the 2013 North Face Speaker Series, returning to New Haven on Wednesday, October 23rd featuring“ Endurance Beyond The Limit,” the story of Diane Van Deren.
After undergoing brain surgery for epilepsy, Diane was given a seizure-free life and a drive to live each day to the fullest. The winner of many of the world’s toughest, longest, coldest and most demanding adventure races, her most recent feat may be her most enduring: she smashed the speed record for the 1,000-mile Mountains to Sea Trail across North Carolina.
The evening begins at 7pm at Yale Law School Levinson Auditorium with an inspirational presentation by Diane Van Deren, followed by a reception at Trailblazer at 296 Elm St, New Haven where you can meet Diane, and enjoy refreshments!
