sponsor a Senior Health and Fitness Day and Book Signing.  If you are a senior, a caregiver, a

professional working with seniors, or an interested community member, you will

Mary believes that integrating movement into our lives has profound and positive consequences.  Movement lowers the risk for dementia and other diseases.  She will help us discover how we can integrate movement into our lives all the time.  Mary will also share her experience with Dr. Fred Gage of the Salk Institute, who was the first to discover that only physical activity can generate new neurons in the brain.

Mary will be interested in
hearing from participants about what is needed to encourage our society to get
off the couch and enjoy healthy aging.

She will share some of her own life story and will be signing her book,
which can be purchased at the event.
