On Sunday, October 6th at 3pm at the Shoreline office of the Jewish Federation, Dr. Liliane Willens will discuss the experience she and her family faced living in China during a tumultuous period in history. ‘Stateless in Shanghai’ is her ‘first-hand account of life in China through WWII, the Chinese Civil War and the Communist Takeover’. The presentation will include a power-point program that highlights the three waves of Jewish Migration to China, 1845-1940. Join JFGNH and Shoreline Hadassah for her talk at the Shoreline office - 705 Boston Post Rd., Guilford. A reception and book signing complete the event. $5 suggested donation. Open to the public.
