Celebrity Yoga Teachers Team Up to Shatter a Prophecy and Create a New One

No one seems to be sweating it, but Friday night December 21st, according to an ancient Mayan Prophecy, will be the  "end of the world", or at least the end of history as we know it. To allay any fears about incipient cataclysmic events, celebrity Yoga Teachers, Ana Brett and Ravi Singh, along with Sal Anunziato, a BranfordYoga Teacher, owner of NextGen software, and driving force behind the band Love Tribe Vibe, will be hosting a "happening," at Ravens Wing Yoga Studio. Owner Sally Noel, says of the event, "December 21st is also the Winter Solstice, when many ancient cultures hosted celebrations to keep their spirits high during the darkening days of the winter season."

Ana Brett and Ravi Singh areAuthors of 22 hot-selling DVD’s. Last year, Ana appeared in a scene (teaching yoga) in the movie Zookeeper with Kevin James.  Ana and Ravi lead practitioners into a deeper experience of yoga/fitness. Their workshops focus on inner and outer strength, and self-healing and feature exercises ANYONE can do. Think of those special days when you feel on top of everything, days when everything flows and beauty abounds! Their workouts put those types of special days on speed dial! This exciting event is for ALL LEVELS. Transform your body and beautify your soul! Ana and Ravi's clients have included Olympic Athletes and top celebrities. They travel extensively, teaching workshops, conferences, and retreats worldwide. Speaking of this event, Ravi SIngh says, "Our work with Sal and Love Tribe Vibe has been the perfect synergy. Everyone loves yoga and everyone lovesgreat music, but when you put the two together they love both even more. Everything is moving quickly now. When I first started teaching yoga, people literally did not know the difference between yoga and yogurt. Now yoga centers are as ubiquitous as phone booths used to be. What people want now is not the next new thing, but the thing which never gets old. That means a direct inner experience which can't be denied. The American take on yoga is a very unique thing. It's fun, dynamic, and effective. Much of the bathwater is gone, but the proverbial baby is doing better than ever!"

This Friday night event will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21st, at Ravens Wing Yoga, 19 S. Main St. in Branford, CT.203.488.9642. Attendees can expect fun and spiritual uplift, fantastic music and an ecstatic journey to the sublime. "These types of events are great, not only for the local yoga community, but for the wider community as well," says Sal Anunziato. "My company designs software systems used mainly by police departments. You would think that people in that world wouldn't be interested in yoga, but the new spirituality which yoga represents cuts across all barriers and demographics. Many of my clients will be at this event!"
