Photographer, Mary Johnson, owner of Mary Johnson Photography, Branford, just printed four separate Branford Compassion Club's 2013 fundraising calendars "Firefighters & Kittens."

Firefighters will be available to sign calendars that they are featured in at RJ Julia Friday Dec. 7th, 2012 at 6:30-7:30 p.m. Some of the featured firefighters who posed in portrait sessions with kittens are from different towns such as, East Haven, Branford, Guilford, Killingworth, Chester, Derby and Orange Fire Department (a big contributor and have their own 2013 "Firefighters & Kittens" Calendar).

A total of 31 firefighters within the past three months donated their time to sit at MJP studio with Branford Compassion Club kittens in their fire gear and dept T-shirts. There were over 50 BCC kittens photographed.  Website: www.branfordcompassionclub.org

Branford Compassion Club (BCC) is a non-profit feline rescue organization that serves not only Branford, CT, but surrounding shoreline towns. The mission of the club is to provide for the feeding, shelter and care of homeless, abandoned and feral cats; to educate the public about the importance of spay/neuter population control, responsible pet ownership and kindness to animals; and to establish an ongoing community network to achieve these goals.  Branford Compassion Club was founded in November 1997, by a handful of compassionate Branford residents concerned with the growing population of feral cats. The residents united to form BCC to alleviate the hunger and suffering of feral cats in this community.

rather harsh and does not mention Congress or that fact that any CEO expects their chain of commandRead More to do the job assigned. The events of the last few years, the endless wars, homeland terrorism etc. Not an easy time for any Commander -in Chief. When an article simply slams and does not balance with positive accomplishments, it is hard to see the readers point of view
