It's Going to be a Hot Fourth of July Weekend [Video]

Meteorologist James Boyle brings you his forecast for the holiday weekend.

To anyone trying to make Fourth of July plans, it looks like that frontal disturbance will be off to our south and east by then so expect plenty of sunshine and warm temperatures! Get those cooking!!

Today: Mostly sunny skies with a very slight chance for an afternoon shower. Any precipitation will be very light. Highs will be seasonable in the upper-70s.

Saturday: Partly cloudy with a very slight chance for an afternoon or evening thundershower. Temperatures will be on the warm side in the low-80s. Overnight lows in the upper-60s.

Sunday: Partly to mostly cloudy, hazy and hot. Highs in the mid to upper-80s. With dewpoints in upper-60s, temperatures will feel more like the low-90s. Late afternoon and evening thunderstorms likely. Some storms my produce strong gusty winds and frequent cloud to ground lightning. Overnight lows in the low-60s.   

July 4th: Partly cloudy and gorgeous. Highs in the low-80s. Overnight lows in the low-60s.
