Weekend Forcast: Sunny and Unseasonably Cool

A cold high pressure is off to our west, helping to funnel in some cold Canadian air. We may see temperatures some 10 degrees below normal.

The new weather model run is trying to develop a “tropical” system off the Carolina coast by Saturday morning and have it slowly track up the coast. This does look very weak, however, and a lot of ingredients need to come together for this to actually happen. The bulk of the precipitation does appear to stay off-shore, but for the time being some light rain is possible on Sunday into early Monday.

Today: Mostly sunny and breezy. Highs will be quite cool in the mid- to upper-60s. Overnight lows will be in the low- to mid-40s. Good news for who plays Foran tonight at home.

Saturday: Look for mostly sunny skies. Temperatures still on the cool side in the mid- to upper-60s. Perfect weather for the Foot Guard March on the Green. Clouds will be on the increase during the overnight hours with overnight lows in the upper-40s.

Monday: A few lingering showers possible in the morning; otherwise look for partly cloudy skies. Highs will be in the upper-60s, with overnight lows in the low-50s.
