Quinnipiac University each year , the annual science and engineering competition for , and soon the university will allow those students go a giant step further.
According to the Hartford Business Journal, Quinnipiac plans to launch a School of Engineering at its campus, beginning with a Department of Engineering at the university’s business school next fall.
University officials said they believe the demand for engineers is about to increase domestically and internationally. The business engineering program will spin off into an autonomous School of Engineering by 2017, they said.
