Moderate to Heavy Rain Tomorrow and Wednesday

A very slow moving frontal boundary will help to pull tropical moisture from the Gulf, giving us a good soaking for tomorrow and Wednesday.

There were some concerns that Hurricane Katia, currently spinning over open waters in the Atlantic was to hit somewhere along the east coast and possibly our area. It is now looking like Katia will curve out to sea and miss the U.S. entirely. However, it is still something I will be watching very closely.

Monday: Clouds with a chance for an afternoon shower or even rumble of thunder. Highs will be seasonable in the upper-70s. Overnight lows in the mid-60s.

Tuesday: Rain, may be heavy at times. A rumble of thunder is not out of the question, especially during the morning hours. Some minor flooding is possible. Daytime highs will be unseasonably cool in the upper-60s.
