Long-Distance Runner Will Log His 50,000th Mile in Branford on Sunday
George Papuga of East Haven has kept track of how many miles he has run since he started running in 1976.
The 32nd annual Road Race on Father’s Day, which and , will be a major milestone for one runner.
According to an article by the New Haven Register, East Haven resident George Papuga will log his 50,000th mile running somewhere along the course Sunday morning.
Papuga, 69, told the Register he has kept a record of his running mileage since he started jogging in 1976.
