Meanwhile in the tropics, Tropical Storm Maria is beginning to take shape and head west-northwest towards the southeast coast. It is still several days away from reaching U.S. soil but will continue to be monitored closely.
Today: Any lingering fog during the early morning hours will burn off, leaving mostly sunny skies. Temperatures will be a bit warm in the low-80s. There is a very slight chance for an overnight sprinkle with lows in the mid-60s.
Saturday: Expect mostly cloudy skies with a slight chance for light rain shower throughout the day. Any precipitation will be very light and short-lived. Daytime highs in the upper-70s, with overnight lows around 60 degrees.
Sunday: Look for partly to mostly cloudy skies with a very slight chance for an afternoon or evening shower. Highs will be a bit more seasonable in the low- to mid-70s. Overnight lows in the low-60s.
Monday: Mostly cloudy with a continued chance for an afternoon sprinkle. Highs in the upper-70s, with overnight lows near 60 degrees.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy with highs in the upper-70s.
