Feds Conduct Illegal Gambling Raids in Branford and Across State
More than 20 men are reportedly under arrest on charges including RICO organized crime violations.
Connecticut continues , but illegal gambling is not up for debate.
The Connecticut Post reported that more than 20 men were arrested across the state early Wednesday morning, including at least one in , when federal authorities conducted raids on a multi-million dollar illegal gambling operation.
Arrests were also made in Trumbull, Stamford, Norwalk and New Haven, and charges include violations of the federal Racketeering Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act that is designed to fight organized crime gangs.
