Branford Happenings Sept. 12 - 18

What are you doing this week? We've got the list of happenings around town.

The week started with a reflection on the tragedy of Sept. 11, 10 years after the incident. A moving butterfly release, sponsored by the Branford Rotary was held on the Green yesterday. Let us know if you attended and check back for photos later today.

As we reflect on the past, we also look forward to a new season starting! Students are and the first high school football game of the season is this week.

The Commission will meet for their regular meeting following a brief traffic committee meeting. Items on the agenda include the with notes as well as traffic items like the progress of getting a stop sign at avenues and to consider a request from the to increase parking on Main Street between Laurel and Cedar streets from one hour to two hours and to re-stripe the parking spaces.
