PHOTOS: Branford Among Highest Snow Totals

The National Weather Service shares some of the unofficial snowfall totals for New Haven County.

 

 

 

The blizzard certainly picked up overnight and Connecticut residents woke up to unreal amounts of snow. I've seen tons of great snow photos on Facebook – take a moment to share them with your neighbors by clicking 'Upload Photos and Video' above or below the photo gallery.

The National Weather Service says "the historic storm is winding down." Gov. Dannel Malloy has ordered all roads closed. As of 4 a.m., the NWS says the blizzard warning is in effect until noon Saturday.

The NWS now says Milford Received 38", so all of these numbers will be adjusted. I just measured 31" undrifted in my driveway...

Agree. New Haven 34.2, Guilford 36. I expect Branford is at 34-36.

Yes. these are certainly the 'unofficial' numbers...seems we have 2 feet+ here...

Can someone get a plow to make one pass on Orchard Hill??? We've been left for dead! Jefferson looks to have had a pass or two, least they could make one pass because if someone has a emergency up here can't get through. Can't even walk!!! Come on. One pass please just one lane

too bad they didn't have snow blowers for emergency vechiles They also need giant snow blowers instead of snow plows
