Here it is only three weeks into the school year, and the Branford High School Fall team sports are all well underway.

The BHS Girls Soccer Team started the season with a tough 2 -1 loss against the Mercy Tigers but came back stringing 3 wins in a row against West Haven, Lyman Hall and Wilbur Cross.  On September 25th the Hornets lost to the North Haven Indians by a score of 4-2 and are looking for their 4th win when they play the East Haven Yellow Jackets at East Haven High School on Friday Sept. 28th. They will be looking for their first home win when they play back at the James McVeigh Alumni Athletic Complex vs. West Haven on October 5th at 6:30pm. Come out and cheer our Girls Soccer team on to a win!

Coach Mike Tracy and the BHS Football Team started the season strong with a 31 - 13 win over the Trumbull Golden Eagles on Sept. 14th, only to suffer a tough loss against the Cheshire Rams last Friday night by a score of 20 – 0.  The team is looking for their second win at home versus Hillhouse this Friday night at 7pm.
