BHS Girls' Soccer Helps Raise Breast Cancer Awareness

The Branford Hornets girls' soccer team played an intense game against rival East Haven Yellow Jackets tonight at home; unfortunately ending in a 3-1 loss

Branford High School's girl's soccer team put up a hard fight in this week's Breast Cancer Awareness game versus The East Haven Yellow Jackets. Unfortunately, the Easties came out on top defeating the Hornets 3-1; goal scored by sophomore, Alyssa Case. It was bound to be a competitive game based on the last competition between the two teams on October 6th, which Branford had won 2-1.

Aside from the great competition between the two teams, Branford helped support Breast Cancer Awareness and Coaches vs. Cancer. Although the Hornets didn't come out with the win this time, they played hard for a great cause.

Come out and support the Lady Hornets at their next home game versus Amity on Wednesday, October 17th at 6:30 p.m!
