Save the Sound & Senator Blumenthal to Participate in Live Twitter Chat This Friday

Save the Sound, Senator Blumenthal to participate in Hurricane Sandy live Twitter chat this Friday.

Do you use Twitter? Have burning questions about climate change, Sandy, and how it impacted our coastline and Long Island Sound?

On Friday, Save the Sound will be holding its first-ever live Twitter chat with Senator Richard Blumenthal to discuss Sandy's local impact. We will be joined by several local environmentalists and scientists who will be able to answer your questions about the storm and the state's recovery from it.

Want to participate but don't use Twitter? Don't fret- we will take some questions from our Facebook fans as well- just post them on Save the Sound's Facebook wall.

To participate, log on to Twitter on Friday at 2:30 P.M. and tweet your questions to @SavetheSound and use the hashtag #LISSandy. We will respond to the questions as they come in.

Check out our Facebook event for more details.

rather harsh and does not mention Congress or that fact that any CEO expects their chain of commandRead More to do the job assigned. The events of the last few years, the endless wars, homeland terrorism etc. Not an easy time for any Commander -in Chief. When an article simply slams and does not balance with positive accomplishments, it is hard to see the readers point of view
