Coins to benefit Branford Compassion Club

Connex Credit Union kicks off first quarter “Coins for Change” program benefiting local community organizations for 2014

Connex Credit Union will donate all fees collected from their Guilford branch coin counting machine from January 1 through March 31 to the Branford Compassion Club. The coin counting machine charges 5% to Connex members and 7% to non- members. Every quarter Connex chooses different local organizations for each of their four coin counting machines located in Guilford, Hamden, North Haven and Wallingford.

The Branford Compassion Club is a non-profit feline rescue organization that serves the surrounding shoreline towns. Their mission is to provide for the feeding, shelter and care of homeless abandoned and feral cats. Since 1997 the Branford Compassion Club has been working to educate the public about the importance of responsible pet ownership and kindness to animals.
