ACES Appoints Leslie Peters Principal of Center for Autism Spectrum and Developmental Disorders

Area Cooperative Educational Services (ACES) is pleased to announce the appointment of Leslie Peters to the position of principal of ACES Center for Autism Spectrum and Developmental Disorders (CASDD).   Prior to her appointment as principal, Ms. Peters was a Speech – Language Pathologist at CASDD. She received a Bachelor’s degree from Emerson College in Communication Studies. She also attended Southern Connecticut State University where she received a Master’s degree in Communication Disorders, and her 6th Year Professional Diploma. 

 

“We are delighted with Ms. Peters appointment as principal of ACES Center for Autism and Developmental Disorders. Having worked at the Center as a Speech and Language Pathologist since 2012, she has a keen knowledge of the school and the students it serves. We are confident that the Center will thrive under Ms. Peters’ leadership,” shared Dr. Craig W. Edmondson, EdD, ACES Executive Director.

ACES Center for Autism and Developmental Disorders is an educational program serving close to 40 students ages 11 – 21 who are from 21 districts throughout Connecticut.  The primary goal of the program is to provide science-based instruction, training and behavior intervention programs that promote and support functional independence.
