Soup to Go...

Mike McCleery of Thimble Islands Lobsterbakes debuts Shoreline Soup Mobile this season. Place your order now!

You may know him as 'Lobster Mike' but Mike McCleery of Thimble Islands Lobsterbakes is now calling himself the 'Soupmeister.' He set out to create an off-season extension of his warm-weather business and the Shoreline Soup Mobile,_ Version 1.0 was born.

Shoreline Soup Mobile will offer their signature New England Clam Chowder ($7), Pure Lobster Bisque ($8), and Vegetable, Beef Barley Soup ($6), in 10-oz. servings. All prices include sales tax. Fresh bakery rolls, spoons, napkins, oyster crackers, S&P, and moist towelettes come with every order.

A Landrover outfitted with a trailer towing soup, will make its first deliveries to Branford residents on Wednesday, November 28. Soup on wheels will stop at targeted businesses throughout town, according to McCleery. "We will also happily serve individuals along our route," he added.

The mobile soup company will be working with a limited quantity of products on opening day, so orders will be taken until 10 a.m. Wednesday for same-day delivery. Leave a message on their Facebook page: Shoreline Soup Mobile, or via text (203-687-6441), and they'll confirm.

The Shoreline Soup Mobile accepts credit cards and cash; check their Facebook page for coupons and specials.

rather harsh and does not mention Congress or that fact that any CEO expects their chain of commandRead More to do the job assigned. The events of the last few years, the endless wars, homeland terrorism etc. Not an easy time for any Commander -in Chief. When an article simply slams and does not balance with positive accomplishments, it is hard to see the readers point of view
