Gas Prices Drop for Another Week

The average price per gallon is the lowest since mid-January — and could continue to drop through the 4th of July.

Prices at the pump continue dropping in Connecticut, with the average per gallon now at $3.64.

That’s down four cents since the previous week and 16 cents from a month ago, according to price tracking website Connecticut Gas Prices.

The national average is $3.43 per gallon.

The cheapest gas price in Branford according to Branford Patch's Commute section is $3.48 a gallon at Cumberland Farms at 227 East Main Street.

“The national average has now dropped to its lowest level since February 4," said Senior Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan, of GasBuddy.com. Connecticut Gas Prices is operated by GasBuddy.com

Some experts warn that prices could hit $5 a gallon this summer, but in the short term, DeHaan told The Tribune Review prices could drop through July 4.

rather harsh and does not mention Congress or that fact that any CEO expects their chain of commandRead More to do the job assigned. The events of the last few years, the endless wars, homeland terrorism etc. Not an easy time for any Commander -in Chief. When an article simply slams and does not balance with positive accomplishments, it is hard to see the readers point of view
