The The Go to Bat for Coach Dummar Team will be hosting a cookout fundraiser for the Dummar family on Sunday, Sept. 30 at the . George Dummar, the baseball coach and long time Branford resident, received the news the he has a serious illness and has a long battle in front of him.
A ticket – $25 (adults); $15 (kids under 13) – gets you all- you-can-eat clam chowder, corn on the cob, fresh salads and hot dogs and hamburgers. There will also be a cash bar.
