Branford P+Z Approves Plans for Five Guys Burgers on West Main Street
Right now, the closest Five Guys Burgers and Fries to Branford is in New Haven.
Five Guys Burgers and Fries, a chain restaurant with more than 1,000 locations throughout the United States and Canada, is soon expected to open a location within Branford's West Main Street Plaza.
The New Haven Register reports that late last month, the Branford Planning and Zoning Commission approved plans for a Five Guys restaurant at 845 West Main Street, where the Game XChange resides. The Branford Game XChange will move to a newer building.
"A number of people have eaten there and really liked it,” Branford Town Planner Shirley Rasmussen told the newspaper. “It’s something a little bit different for Branford.”
